A mainframe computer is a high-performance computer used for large-scale computing purposes. The original main frames were housed in room-sized metal frame, which  s probably where the name derives from.
    Originally, main frames computers were computers that could handle multiple operations simultaneously, and they had centralized operations.
    Today, mainframes high-performance that have much greater availability  and security, and they also serve smaller servers and distributed users. Newer mainframes are about the same size as a large refrigerator, and they play a central role in the daily operations of most of the world’s largest corporations.


USB Ports

External devices, like printers, monitors, keyboard and mouse are plugged into your computer through different openings known as USB ports. The port allows instructions to flow between your computer and the device. The letters USB stand for universal serial Bus.
